Kingston Police are dealing with a serious incident which has closed down streets in the city, with reports saying that after stabbing two people, a man was shot by an officer .Global News Kingston is reporting that two men were stabbed at the intersection of Queen and Bagot streets, with a witness saying officers fired shots at the man, before he stabbed himself in the neck.Further information from Global News says paramedics were seen working on at least two people at the scene.A tweet from Kingston Police only confirms “a serious incident” and says sections of Queen Street and Bagot Street are both closed and will be for a few hours, as they investigate.
The Special Investigations Unit has also invoked its mandate but hasn’t released any information on the incident as of yet.
