The board for the amalgamated company that provides hydro services to Belleville has appointed a new director.
Nicole McNeill will serve as an independent director on the board for Elexicon Energy, which was formed when Veridian Connections and Whitby Hydro officially merged in April of this year.
McNeill is currently the President and CAO of the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and will serve a three-year term on Elexicon’s board, with Board Chair Paul Murphy saying in a statement that her experience will be a welcome complement to directors who are already in place.
Elexicon Energy is owned by the City of Belleville, Town of Whitby, City of Pickering and the Town of Ajax, and provides hydro services to more than 162,000 customers across those areas.
