A Prince Edward County man has been charged after OPP caught a speeding driver early this morning.
Police made the traffic stop just before 6:20 a.m., on County 1 Road near Alexander Road in Hillier, after a westbound Dodge Caravan was clocked going more than 50 km/h over the 80 km/h speed limit.
Twenty-two-year-old Joshua Dougherty is charged with stunt driving and is scheduled to appear in court on October 4.
He had his licence suspended for a week and his vehicle impounded for seven days as well.
