According to the most extensive forward looking employment survey in the world there won’t be a lot of hiring done in the next few months in the Quinte region.
The ManpowerGroup’s latest survey shows just 3% of local employers plan on hiring new employees in the next three months.
That compares with 10% planning on cutting back on workers.
This downbeat hiring climate is starkly different from the positive outlook present for the past three months.
Meanwhile nationally the hiring outlook for the fourth quarter is holding steady.
