The Minor Hockey season kicked off with Belleville teams skating to a gold and silver medal in their respective tournaments.
The Adam Walsh PeeWee Jr. Bulls whipped the 3 time defending champion Aurora Tigers 7-0 to win the Markham Waxers September showdown.
Nick Parodo and Calum Decker shared the net. Belleville outscored their oppoenents 24-4 in the tournament.
The Belleville Tompkins Brothers Atom Jr. Bulls were undefeated until the final game at the Justin Williams Cup in Cobourg. Belleville wins silver after falling 5-1 to Newcastle.
