A man from north of Oshawa has been charged after a crash on Highway 401 this past Friday evening.
Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a crash on the eastbound Highway 401 near Odessa, where a truck had clipped the back of a transport, before losing control and hitting a tree in a ditch.
Investigators found that the driver of the truck had been drinking and have charged 55-year-old Stephen Michael Barnett of Sunderland with impaired driving.
His licence was suspended, his vehicle has been impounded for a week and he is scheduled to appear in court on September 24.
Police say nobody was injured in the crash.
