If Belleville council approves, work should begin soon on upgrading the transit terminal building on Pinnacle Street.
Tom Belch and Sons Building Contractors submitted the only tender for the job. It was for a total of $335,000 tax included.
The city had set aside $350,000 for the project.
Once complete the work will lead to more accessible washrooms being open 7 days a week for the public and better washroom and lunchroom facilities for bus drivers.
