It was Zoe to the rescue once again.
Police dog Zoe and her handler, Constable Scott Gannon of the Prince Edward County OPP, helped find three missing hikers Tuesday.
Three adults were reported missing in the woods in the area of County Road 7 in Prince Edward County late Tuesday morning.
They were visiting friends and decided to explore a wooded area of the property.
The homeowner called police when they failed to return.
Zoe and Constable Gannon, with the assistance of the OPP ERT, searched the wooded area and found the missing persons about two and half kilometres away from their starting point.
They were not hurt.
Zoe, a two-year-old Labrador, made headlines earlier this summer when she helped rescue two teenage girls lost in Algonquin Park.
