The Belleville Bulldogs have added another title to an impressive list.
Belleville’s Under 15 Girls team defeated Oshawa 37-5 to win the Rugby Ontario Championship in Markham. That capped an undefeated 12-0 season.
The Bulldogs were dominant in the tournament scoring a 37-0 win over Barrie in the quarter finals and 33-5 over North Halton in the semis.
Aleisha Rose was named the Most Valuable Player.
Coach “Chuck” Carlton said his team had one goal in mind and showed great stamina and drive in their best performance of the season.
The Bulldogs Under 17 Girls also advanced to the Rugby Ontario round. Last week the Bulldog Senior Women won Rugby Ontario’s McKenna Division Championship.
