Some residents in Prince Edward County will experience a disruption in their water service tomorrow.
Crews will be installing new valves on a watermain on Talbot Street, so there will be no water going to homes north of Ackerman Street, to north of Argyle Crescent between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The County says hand-delivered notices are going out to affected customers, who are being encouraged to store some potable drinking water for use during the interruption.
While water quality won’t be affected, residents should expect the possibility of coloured water once service is restored and should flush the cold water tap closest to the water metre once work is complete.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to PEC staff at Shire Hall.
