The Board Chair of the Grace Inn Shelter expects it to be open for the cold weather.
Jodie Jenkins spoke to Quinte News this week and says it is full steam ahead on the retrofit for the former Irish Hall on Church Street.
He says they will not need everything to be completed to start giving people a bed.
Jenkins says they have done a lot of work over the last 6-8 weeks.
He adds that they recently did a promotion where supporters could cover the cost of one bed.
