There’s a ceremony recognizing the support of the provincial government in helping make improvements to downtown Brighton tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
The province, through its Main Street Revitalization Program, provided over $48,000 toward various upgrades in the downtown. The municipality also paid its share for the work done.
Among other things, wi-fi and an audio visual system were installed in the stage area of Memorial Park.
Mayor of Brighton Brian Ostrander will preside over the ceremony at 6:15 at Memorial Park with the event to be followed by music by the Brighton All-Star Concert Band.
