There were some scary moments for one motorist over the weekend.
Quinte West OPP are investigating after an assault with a weapon on the 401 on Friday night.
Police report the passenger of a vehicle travelling west on the highway pointed and fired a nail gun at the victim’s vehicle.
The victim’s vehicle received minor damage but no injuries were reported.
The suspect vehicle then exited the highway at Glen Miller Road. The vehicle is described as being a dark coloured Mazda 3 sedan and the driver is described as being male, with blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing a baseball cap.
