There’s some bad news when it comes to family health care in the Brighton area. Two of the members of the Lakeview Family Health Team, the husband-wife team of doctors Harrison and Kelly Bishop, will be moving elsewhere as of May 1 of next year.
In a letter recently sent to their patients, the Bishops said the decision to leave was not taken lightly but was best for their family.
Former Deputy Mayor of Brighton Roger McMurray read some of the doctors’ letter to the MIX Morning Crew this morning (Wednesday).
When the Bishops close their practice there will be seven doctors left on the health team working out of Brighton.
