There was a fatality involving a train Sunday in Belleville.
Around 3:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to the CN rail tracks at Moira Street East, after a pedestrian was struck by a passenger train.
The VIA train was headed from Toronto to Ottawa.
No details surrounding the death are known at this time, but the incident caused delays for train commuters.
