Former Trenton Golden Hawk, Hunter Fargey is returning to Canada to resume his hockey career.
The University of Toronto men’s hockey program announced that the former Golden Hawk has committed to play for the Varsity Blues this fall.
The Belleville native spend the past three seasons in the NCAA with the Sacred Heart University Pioneers playing in 42 games.
The 24-year-old Fargey was a key member of the 2016 Golden Hawks who went on to become OJHL Champions and capture a Dudley Hewitt Cup title.
Fargey played with the G-Hawks from 2013 until 2016, scoring 48 goals and tallying 83 assists in 141 games.
At the University of Toronto, Fargey will be reunited with former Golden Hawk teammates Kevin Lavoie and Curtis Harvey.
