Quinte West Council wants more information on a new mandatory tree planting proposal.
Thursday at the Planning Committee meeting, they discussed new subdivisions having a tree planting component in the build.
Mayor Jim Harrison.
He says the type of trees you plant, whether they are on public or private property and other details needs to be explored.
More information is expected to return to the committee over the coming months.
