On August 15, 2019 just after 11:00 p.m. Prince Edward County OPP received a fire assist call regarding a bulldozer that had been set on fire.
On Wednesday August 14, at about 11:00 p.m. OPP officers were requested to assist Prince Edward County Fire Department who attended to a fire after a witness had observed flames on an unassumed road that starts at Skutter Street going from Kingsley Road to Inkerman Street in Hallowell Ward.
On Thursday August 15, officers attended to the area and determined that a Liebherr model 631 bulldozer had been parked on the unassumed road and was purposely set on fire and is being deemed as an arson.
The property is valued at approximately $30,000.
Prince Edward OPP Crime Unit have been engaged to assist with the investigation.
