A 25-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges after a single vehicle accident on the weekend.
Northumberland OPP say just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday August 9, a sedan rolled into a ditch on Little Lake Road just north of County Road 2.
When officers arrived on scene they noticed Dylan Knapman was found to be under the influence of alcohol and had allegedly assaulted citizens who were trying to assist him.
He is facing two counts of uttering threats and failure to comply with prohibition regarding children, failure to comply with a probation order, operation while prohibited, assault, operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration over 80mgs.
Knapman was held in custody for a bail hearing.
There were no serious injuries sustained during this incident.
