A Prince Edward County resident thinks county council is wasting a lot of money by buying top of the line Apple iPads for its 13 members.
Council voted to buy the iPads and accessories for a total cost of almost $30,000.
Resident Gary Mooney will appear before council tomorrow (Tuesday) night and say they could have purchased iPads perfectly suitable to councillor’s work needs for under $10,000.
In his deputation Mooney says council should reach out to its citizens with expertise on certain subjects more often to help make better decisions.
