Prince Edward OPP have made a pair of arrests after executing a search warrant at a Picton home.
Various police units entered a home on Reichwald Court around 3:30 p.m. looking for drugs and seized trace amounts of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine, along with Hydro-morphine pills and other drug related items.
Thirty-two-year-old Joel Sturgess and 46-year-old Marc Alaire, both of Prince Edward County, have been charged with drug trafficking and possession.
They were both released from custody with court dates on September 25.
Police say while the amounts of Fentanyl found were small, a tiny amount of the drug can still be extremely dangerous and sometimes fatal, which is why they continue to crack down on the possession and distribution of the drug.
