Construction in Brighton is a little slower than last year.
There were six building permits issued for a construction value of $2.9 million last month.
This year so far has seen 32 permits issued, 20 urban and 12 rural, for a construction value of $14.8 million.
When compared to July of last year, it’s a decrease of almost $3 million.
One of the big ticket items in the municipality, an industrial project on Sharp Road, has a construction value of $615,000.
