Construction in Prince Edward County was up significantly last month when compared to the year before.
There were 119 building permits issued for a construction value of $16.4 million.
That compares to $6.1 million in July of last year.
This year so far has seen 529 permits issued for a construction value of $71.9 million.
The bulk of the construction was in 20 new homes, which carried an $11 million value and in four industrial commercial projects worth $1.1 million.
