There is a big power outage in the region.
The outage stretches from Newcastle in the west to Colborne in the east.
In our area the lights are out as far north as Centreton. Almost 6,000 Hydro One customers are without power. The cause of the outage is unknown.
Hydro One expects the power to be back on by 10 o’clock this morning (Wednesday).
