Belleville was collision city yesterday (Tuesday).
At 7:30 in the morning police say a female walking in the area of North Front and Tracey Streets was struck by a grey SUV. The vehicle drove away from the scene. Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
At 2:40 in the afternoon, there was a 4 vehicle collision on Dundas East near Food Basics. There were minor injuries and one vehicle needed to be towed.
At 4:22 there was a 2 vehicle crash on Dundas East. No one was injured and there was minor damage however 31 year old city man James Holmes was charged with impaired driving.
A few minutes later a vehicle hit an elderly woman driving an e-bike at Bridge Street East and Bleecker Avenue. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The other driver was charged with making an unsafe turn.
And at 12:30 this morning (Wednesday) city police investigated a fail to remain collision on Dundas Street West. A 19 year old woman was charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident and being a G1 driver without being accompanied by a qualified driver.
No one was injured and the damage was minor.
