Former Trenton Golden Hawks star forward Liam Morgan is heading to Ireland. Morgan has signed a professional contract to play for the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
Morgan played 3 seasons with Trenton helping them win the Buckland Cup in 2016 and the Dudley Hewitt Cup in 2016 and 17. Morgan scored 143 points in 139 games with the Golden Hawks.
Last season Morgan played for the NCAA Division 1 Union College Dutchmen. In 67 games he scored 20 goals and 22 assists and was named an ECAC Hockey All Academic Team member.
