Belleville police officers were involved in a short foot chase at 3 o’clock this (Wednesay) morning on Catharine Street.
Officers noticed a suspect thought to be breaching her bail conditions and when they approached she ran away.
Danille Stapely, 31, of Belleville was quickly arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for trafficking, weapons dangerous. possessing the proceeds of crime and 6 counts of breaching bail conditions.
She is in custody for another bail hearing.
