A Prince Edward County man faces an assault with a weapon charge after another man was hit on the back of the head with the end of a pool cue early this (Wednesday) morning.
The incident occurred around 2:30 this morning at a residence on McKnight Lane east of Wellington on West Lake.
OPP say the men were arguing and both were intoxicated. The victim suffered a minor injury.
Terry Crowell, 54, was charged and has a September 25 court date.
