July was an exceptional month for real estate sales in the Quinte Region.
The Quinte and District Association of Realtors noting all the categories it tracks trended upwards, which hasn’t happened since December 2014 and is a sign of the strength of the local market.
The monthly dollar sales for the month were up 27.6% compared to July 2018, coming in at more than $131.5 million, with residential sales up 28.6%, coming in at almost $126 million.
The year-to-date total sales number is up 9.8% compared to last year, at more than $726 million.
QDAR says the average price of a home last month was $367,267, up 8.9% from 2018 and there were 343 residential sales last month, 57 more than July last year.
