Arrests on Warrants
On August 3, 2019, shortly after 2:30 p.m., an officer on patrol observed a man walking on Turnbull Street who had recent arrest warrants issued for him. The 34-year-old Belleville resident was taken to the Belleville Police Service and is being held for a video remand appearance on August 4. The charges included theft and failing to attend court.
On August 4 at 12:06 a.m., police arrested a man on warrants after an officer on patrol checked on him when he was observed sleeping on a bench at the city transit terminal on Pinnacle Street. The 33-year-old Belleville resident was held for a video remand appearance on August 4. He faces seven counts of breach of probation, failing to attend for prints and for court and possession of a controlled substance.
