It was a sad ending to a three-day search in Quebec for a missing small plane and its pilot.
On Twitter, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre based at 8 Wing Trenton reports that the missing Beechcraft aircraft and its pilot and only occupant have been located.
The pilot died in the crash.
Hercules and Aurora planes, along with Griffon helicopters from 424 Squadron, as well as agencies from Quebec, had been searching for the aircraft since Wednesday.
