The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.
Manasie Ipeelee is described as an Indigenous male, 47 years of age, 5’3″, 143 pounds with long black hair, black goatee and brown eyes (wears prescription glasses). He has tattoos on his left hand, left thigh, upper back, both upper arms and left forearm.
He is currently bound by a Long Term Supervision Order resulting from a six-year sentence for Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm and is currently on statutory release for Breach of a Long Term Supervision Order.
The offender is known to frequent the Ottawa area as well as Iqaluit, Nunavut.
