The Ontario Junior Hockey League released its 2019-2020 regular season schedule yesterday.
The season opens on Friday, September 6 with 12 of the OJHL’s 22 teams in action.
The Wellington Dukes who came up just short of a Buckland Cup title last season will open on Sept. 6 against the Brampton Admirals at home.
The Trenton Golden Hawks will also open up their season on that Friday against the brand new Collingwood Colts.
The movement of two franchises has meant adjustments to the OJHL’s divisional alignment. The Collingwood Colts, formerly the Kingston Voyageurs will move into the North Division. The Milton Menace, the former Newmarket Hurricanes are in the West Division. The Brampton Admirals have moved into the South Division.
The regular season ends Feb. 23. The top four teams in each division will make the playoffs.
