The driver of a tractor trailer that rolled over on Highway 401 east of Belleville early this morning (Wednesday) was lucky to have only suffered minor injuries.
Around 3 o’clock this morning, the transport he was driving rolled off the eastbound lanes and ended up on its side in the median near the Shannonville Road exit.
The driver had to be extricated by Belleville firefighters and was taken to BGH with bumps and bruises.
There was a small fuel spill but the transport’s load was not hazardous. The truck will be towed out of the median at some unknown time.
