To mark the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics, Special Olympics Ontario has identified 50 people involved in Special Olympics programs to receive a gold medallion.
Belleville’s multi sport Special Olympian Nicole Ferguson is one of recipients.
Ferguson who competes in speed skating, track & field, basketball, and softball received her award as an ambassador of the Special Olympics movement.
