The Belleville Senators have made a depth defence signing, inking 21 year-old Trent Bourque to a one-year, two-way AHL contract.
That means the 6’2”, 201 pound, native of Burlington could split time between Belleville and ECHL Brampton this season.
Bourque had 49 points in 272 career OHL games with Sudbury and Owen Sound, and was drafted in the 6th round by St. Louis in 2017, but had not signed.
The B-Sens will continue to fill out their roster leading up to training camp at the end of September.
