Council in Prince Edward County will be asked to approve an agreement with the province for community transportation funding.
The municipality will receive $500,000 from the Ministry of Transportation to implement the services beginning on March 31, 2020.
The County would contribute just over $83,000 over four years as their portion of the program.
This would cover the contracts with Quinte Access and Deseronto Transit.
The report submitted to council notes the $83,400 contributed by the County is less than originally committed in the grant application.
The funding from the province would be paid in stages if the County meets specified deadlines as outlined in their grant application.
Prince Edward County staff applied for the grant in May 2018 and was notified of their successful application this month.
Council meets at 7 p.m. at Shire Hall on Tuesday.
