Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from July 17, 2019 at 5 a.m. to July 18, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Stolen Vehicle
On July 17 at 11:30 a.m., police took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the parking lot of a west end apartment complex. Stolen was a 1998 Blue Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing licence plate number CEFP 636. If anyone has any information with regards to the theft or location of the vehicle they are being asked to contact The Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.
Arrest on Warrant
On July 17 at 8 p.m., police arrested a 21-year-old Belleville male on an arrest warrant issued by The Cobourg Police Service for sexual assault and failing to attend court after responding to an unwanted persons call on Coleman St. in Belleville. The male was transported to Cobourg to be processed.
