Traffic along Dundas Street was snarled for a while following a single vehicle accident.
Around 2 p.m., an SUV drove into the west railing of the bridge at Dundas and Front Streets.
Quinte West firefighters were also on the scene of a motorcycle accident on Hamilton Road, just west of Whites Road.
The accident took place at 2:30 p.m.
Reports say a man in his 30’s is involved. He was transported to Kingston General Hospital in serious condition.
Hamilton Road is closed between Whites and Lester Road.
Fire Chief John Whalen says he expects the road to remain closed while the OPP investigates.
