Quinte West OPP have laid charges of attempted murder, in connection with a stabbing on Front Street, last Friday night.
Police were called around 10:30 p.m. and found two victims, both men, aged 31 and 44, with serious injuries.
Investigators say both victims are still in the hospital and they’ve charged 24-year-old Joey Hagan of Quinte West with two counts of attempted murder and one count of break and enter for the purpose of committing an indictable act.
He was scheduled for a court appearance in Belleville today.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, with forensic identification services and the Criminal Investigations Branch still looking into the case.
