A 55-year-old man from Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township has been charged with two counts of sexual assault according to the OPP.
Peterborough County’s Crime Unit began an investigation following two incidents, one in February and the second in May of this year.
Police say Troy Merriam would allegedly approach his male victims and ask for assistance as he is physically handicapped.
The victims, who were unknown to Merriam, were then sexually assaulted and harassed after entering the silver van owned by Merriam.
He will appear in Peterborough Court on August 1 to answer the charges.
