The funding comes from the Ministry of Transportation’s Connecting Links Program, which supports municipal roads and bridges that join segments of provincial highway.
The Director of Engineering and Development Services Rod Bovay has a timeline in mind for this project.
The three million dollars will cover 90% of eligible project costs with the total cost coming in around $3.4 million according to Mayor Mitch Panciuk.
