Quinte West OPP are investigating after at least two people were stabbed in Trenton Friday night.
Two victims were taken to Kingston General Hospital for treatment of stab wounds and trauma.
The stabbings took place in the area of Annwood Court and Front Street near Front Street Variety on the west side of the Trent River after 10 o’clock.
An apartment on Front Street had been broken in to.
A male suspect took off on foot into a wooded area near the Quinte West Youth Centre.
He was quickly arrested by OPP officers. A taser was deployed in the arrest.
The suspect was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital for assessment.
