Thanks to a pair of goals by Belleville’s Jackie Jarrell, Canada moves into the quarter finals at the World Women’s In-Line hockey championships in Barcelona undefeated.
Canada edged host Spain 2-1 to clinch first place in Pool “C” with a 4-0 record.
Canada has outscored their opponents 29-3 in the round robin with Jarrell leading the way with 8 goals and 4 assists. She is tied for 4th overall.
Canadians will face Italy in tomorrow’s quarter final.
The Czech Republic and the United States won their respective Pools with 4-0 records as well.
