Belleville council is expected to set the stage for the start of some major infrastructure work in the city’s west end.
Staff is recommending a tender of almost $4 million from Gordon Barr Limited to replace watermains on Moira Street West from Sidney to Howard streets and from Moira West to Lewis Street.
The bid from Gordon Barr was the lowest of four with the highest coming in at around $5.4 million.
City council will vote on the project at its meeting this afternoon.
