“I feel extremely honoured to have been selected to command 2 Air Movements Squadron. I have first-hand experience with the professionalism and dedication of the women and men of this unit and I will do my best to enable them to succeed in their mission. I want to thank Lieutenant-Colonel Teresa Brown for her incredible leadership over the past few years and I look forward to building upon the work she has done,” said LCol Sing.
In addition to the constant airlift support at 8 Wing, 2 Air Mov Sqn maintains a deployable capability with four, 10-person Mobile Air Movements Sections (MAMS). Deployments in Canada and abroad serve to prepare these teams in preparation for any contingencies or wartime operations.
