Temperatures remain high in our region, with some communities under a heat warning.
Environment Canada says Ottawa through the Quinte region to Windsor will see humidex values near 40 today.
It says there will be a higher risk of heat stroke and heat exhaustion for those in the affected areas.
The agency has also issued special weather statements related to the heat for an area stretching from Smiths Falls to Sarnia.
