Traffic accident causing delays on eastbound 401

A traffic note for those of you headed east on the 401 this hour.

The left shoulder and lane of 401 were closed for over an hour following a collision at Beachwood Road that reportedly involved a motorcycle, just west of Exit 579 or County Road 41 in Napanee.

There is also construction in that area as well.

Expect significant delays and traffic backups in the area as the OPP continue their investigation.
