Construction could begin before the winter on a four-storey active seniors’ building in downtown Marmora.
Marmora and Lake’s Planning Advisory Committee unanimously passed a zoning by-law amendment for the property at 25 and 29 Forsyth Street to allow the 18-suite building to be constructed.
The developer, FairTradeWorks, had changed its original plans after Marmora and Lake council raised issues concerning parking and public safety.
The seniors’ residence is expected to be a $4 million project.
