Three people were transported to hospital, following a serious crash Monday.
Just after 10:00 am, emergency crews responded to Highway 62 and County Road 1, after an eastbound car on County Road 1 was struck by a north bound SUV hauling a boat on Highway 62. The collision caused the trailered boat to flip over, landing upside down.
Prince Edward County OPP Constable Karen German tells Quinte News that three people were injured and taken to hospital. Two people had minor injuries, while a third person sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for a short period while police investigated.
Jae Park, age 70 from Weston, Ontario was charged with careless driving.
